here's the data I have: For the month of October, 2008, before we started tai chi, these were the documented incidences of undesirable behaviors in our classrooms: Crying - 17 Leaving classroom or other area of activity without permission - 7 Verbal aggression - 10 Physical aggression - 12 Aggressive gestures towards other students - 4 Refusal to work or participate - 28 Self-injurious behaviors - 9.

In the month of March, 2009,after four to six tai chi lessons, the number of undesirable behaviors decreased: Crying - 10 Leaving classroom or other area of activity without permission - 0 Verbal aggression - 8 Physical aggression - 6 Aggressive gestures towards other students - 0 Refusal to work or participate - 12 Self-injurious behaviors - not known None of the self-injuries were in my classroom, and I did not get a reply today before I left school from Julie McCann. But all the other data is mine.
